In the wake of likely extension of resumption date for academic activities across the nation, some students have appealed to the federal government to make January 18 sacrosanct.
While speaking with Inkline Times, a student of Olabisi Onabanjo, Kunle Akanni lamented that, extending the resumption date does not have any effect of teeming Nigerian students, who are eager to go back to school.
Acccirding to him, “with over a year at home, why the need for postponement?”, He asked.
In her own response, Adedeji Rasheedat lamented the effect of covid-19 on academic exercise, urging the federal government not to extend the resumption date, but put the necessary mercenaries in place to combat the ailment.
