In a night bookmakers were proved wrong on who proceeds to the semi final of Uefa Champions League ongoing in Portugal, Olympique Lyon produced a stunning result against the people’s choice, Manchester City.
In a pulsating match dominated by Manchester City, Lyon took the early lead through a goal scored by Cornet in the 24th minutes of the game to indicate their readiness to snatch the needed victory.

Dembele once again proved to be the hero of the night when he pounced on the goalkeeping error after Bravo failed to parried the ball clearly by calmly putting the ball into the net for his second goal of the night to settle the score at 3-1 iat exactly 87th minutes of the normal time.
It was a night of yet another horror of loss as the ghost of quarter final came yet again to hunt down Manchester City who couldn’t proceed beyond same stage thus year.
Speculations are already on as to whether Pep Guardiola will remain in charge next season or not, having not been able to reproduce the magical tactics of the past since 2011.
