Kylian Mbappe was forced off during the first half of Paris Saint-Germain’s Coupe de France final with St-Etienne.
The forward picked up an ankle injury after a rough challenge from Loic Perrin which sparked angry reactions from both sets of players.
After a VAR review, Perrin’s yellow card was upgraded to red and the St-Etienne captain headed off down the tunnel at the Stade de France.
Mbappe followed him soon after, hobbling off the pitch with the help of PSG’s medical staff.
With the Champions League to come in August, alarm bells will be ringing for the Parisian club.
