The new inventions of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro have been described as world standard that would be given accelerated certification without any further delay.

According to him, ” these inventions have shown that Nigeria is no longer a dumping ground when talking about production of quality productions and I can tell you that, these inventions here are of quality standards and we are going to certify them without delay”.
Engr Umoru further stressed that the organization is always in support of anyone, agency or organization producing quality products, saying that, they are behind the polytechnic for making the nation proud.
While appreciating the management and members of staff for a job well done, Engr. Umoru assured the polytechnic that the new inventions will no doubt bring money for the institution due to the needs as well as the quality of every product on display.

The hallmark of the event was the formal unveiling of a disinfectant booth which is useful for inward movement to organizations, schools and any other important place of gathering.
Commenting on the disinfectant booth, the Rector disclosed that, “as students prepare for the opening of school in Nigeria, the booth can serve as a way of combating the spread of Covid-19 as everyone coming in would be made to pass through the booth before entering the school.

Arc. Aluko said, with 4 channels each for sanitizing and hand washing with water taps attached, the machine can attend to at least 1000 students at speed everyday.
At the end of the entire exercise, Engr. Umoru urged the Rector to send their representatives for the certification of the newly unveiled four inventions. He however warned that the agency will not hesitate in withdrawing her certificate if the standard is considered to be dropping per time.
