Members of staff of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro have continued to shower encomiums on the former Deputy Rector of the institution, Mr Adebari Clement Olusegun, popularly known as “Baba Adebari’.
In one of the messages, another former Deputy Rector of the polytechnic, Engr Osore described “Baba Adebari’ as a role model and disciplinarian who is never economical with truth.
In his own remarks, a lecturer, Pastor Chappy described him as ‘an ICON and a very amiable man per-excellence’, praying for him to live long in Jesus Name.
In his own eulogy, Mr Ayodele Oduwole narrated how Baba Adebari saved him from the early teaching phobia and mentored him into greatness even when he felt threatened in his career. According to him, ” baba Adebari will greet you with his sweet-loud audible voice…hellooo, so loud and reaching”
He stated further that , baba doesn’t care about your “look or class” but addresses you as a colleague. “He’s so professional to a fault…it was later I got to know his profile”.
Mr Adebari will be exiting the service of the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro after a blossom career where he served as the former Head of Department of Business Administration, Former Dean, School of Management Studies and also served as a former Deputy Rector of the institution.
Just like Mr Oduwole stated in his remarks, baba Adebari would be greatly missed and the polytechnic community will surely miss his white Mercedes Benz which is an epitome of his low life and display of humility.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer of the institution, Sola Abiala, the Dean of School of Management, Dr Mikhail Akinde has invited members of the Poly Community to the pull out ceremony holding on Friday, July 5th 2019 at the 500 seated auditorium of the institution. The event comes up by 9am
As at the time of filing in this report, showers of encomiums are still being poured on the man whom they all described as easy going, kind hearted and apostle if truth.
