The Rector Arc. Segun Aluko has expressed undilluted appreciation to the executives and members of the Non-Academic Staff Union (NASU), of the institution for what he described as the best gift he has ever received as the Rector of the institution!
According to him, “this is my happiest day in the office, and I will definitely reciprocate this gesture!”
The Rector made this remark when the Exco of NASU presented the old vehicle of the Union to the institution for the use of the newly established Polytechnic Driving School.
Arc. Aluko said that he was particularly appreciative of the Union’s developmental partnership with the institution and urged other unions, corporate entities and individuals to emulate NASU.
Presenting the car, the institution’s Branch Chairman of NASU, Comrade Ibrahim Popoola emphasised that the open door policy of the present management allows for peaceful co-existence between the Unions and management thus giving room for collective efforts towards the development of the polytechnic.
Popoola stressed that that’s why NASU has decided to donate the car to the Driving School.
